The
Dubroom reviews a lot of different material, from
musical to educational to beneficial and more.
We've got music, but also material for artists and
producers as well as researchers of more conscious
material. As always, when the Dubroom reviews
something, this means that this website considers
the material at least fair. So don't expect any
negative reviews. When it's here, we recommend it.
Period.

(DUB)
REGGAE MUSIC |
| From
full-length documentaries to video clips,
this is where you can not only enjoy the
sounds of (DUB) Reggae music, but the sights
as well. We are talking about very diverse
material that is not selected persay because
of it's novelty. Historical recordings that stood
against the test of times are offered as
well, TV broadcasts,
interviews: the Dubroom is always interested
in relevant and/or of high quality material
to review and in this part of the Dubroom
video reviews you can find just that.

RIDING THE
FISHERMAN RIDDIM
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| In
Reggae music, we speak about
"riddims" rather than
"songs". Studio Bands play the
music into the multi-track recorder, and
singers will come, DUB engineers, and they
will do things with the multitrack
recording.

RICHIE
SPICE - RIGHTEOUS YOUTHS
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| An
easy-skanking riddim serves as the
foundation for another Richie Spice track
that will be appreciloved by those who are
into some righteous Rasta Reggae.
The video
shows Jah creation and the Ethiopian
Emperor, and the sufferers in man creation:
the cities and the ghetto's. The message in
the track is one of encouragement and
strength.

TENOR SAW -
RING THE ALARM
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| Ring
The Alarm is a classic Rub a Dub tune,
dealing with a classic theme as well. Tenor
Saw "Ring(s) the Alarm, another sound
is dying". But Reggae Music will never
die, as the rhythm continues to carry the
sounds of freedom from one decade into the
next.

DON CARLOS,
LIVE @ REGGAE SUNDANCE 2005
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| Drums.
Bass. Guitar. Keyboards, and two horn
blowers. Look, there is the complete band to
back up Don Carlos. And they do a wonderful
job, as they play everything in a kind of
Dubby style.
Don Carlos,
himself one of the original members of Black
Uhuru, has a very sweet voice. He makes
impressive melodies, as he has attention for
every detail that comes out of his mouth.

VIDEO REVIEW |
| With
an all-star band led by Sly and Robbie to
back him up, here is a young Luciano
performing live for UK TV's "The White

is delivering a powerful message in a
powerful way.
