PODCAST
reviews |
| Podcasts
are a great way to get yourself familiar
with all kinds of artists and styles you
might like to consider for your next
purchase. It is also a very good way of
experiencing Reggae in an alternative way as
many podcasts are de facto non-stop mixes,
often put together by skillful DJ's and
other Sound System personnel. The Dubroom
has reviewed many of the best podcast(ers)
throughout the years, all of which you can
discover in our reviewed podcast pages. Be
sure to also check out the Dubroom's own
podcast. A link to the latest chapter can be
found on the left side of this page.

DUB
SESSION #1
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
| WWW,
March 2008 - The US-based DUB SESSION
Podcasts brings us yet another side of DUB
in a stream of electronic Drum and Bass
driven Riddims. One riddim follows the
other in a tripped out Session, perfectly
mixed by host DJ Chill Will.
DUB SESSION
it is called, and a DUB Session it sure is!
After an initial announcement by our host,
we dive straight into the deep with some
heavy drum and bass driven music by Mad
Professor, DUB Syndicate as well as
collectives who may not be considered by the
Reggae puritans.

NEWS PODCAST #6
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
| WWW,
February 2008 - UK DUB and ROOTS Reggae
Music is known to incorporate digital
techniques and musical programming. But none
of that can be found in this excellent
showcase of UK Reggae bands and vocalists
brought to you by the REGGAENEWS.CO.UK crew.
The 1970's
gave birth to a lot of crucial Reggae Music,
that hasn't lost one inch of it's initial
strength and power in the decades that were
to come.
