DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW

WWW, July 2007 - When Rockers became Rub a Dub, this was a few years before Rub a Dub became Dancehall with the rise of digital technology in the Jamaican Studio's. This particular podcast captures the vibes of the time, a time often misunderstood.

BROADCASTER COMMENTS: Inspired by my old mate Tim.P's excellent mid 80s episodes here's a little selection of the records that lifted the music out the doldrums of 82-84 and got me buying records again. Respect also to my good friend Gaffa Blue who compiled some killer Jammys cassettes back in the late 80s/early 90s realising that this music was the Studio 1 & Treasure Isle of it's days.
