The
Dubroom reviews a lot of different material, from
musical to educational to beneficial and more.
We've got music, but also material for artists and
producers as well as researchers of more conscious
material. As always, when the Dubroom reviews
something, this means that this website considers
the material at least fair. So don't expect any
negative reviews. When it's here, we recommend it.
Period.

of it's novelty. Historical recordings that stood

well, TV broadcasts,
interviews: the Dubroom is always interested
in relevant and/or of high quality material
to review and in this part of the Dubroom
video reviews you can find just that.

PETER TOSH
- STEPPING RAZOR, RED X
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| WWW,
February 2008 - Based on the
autobiographical "Red-X Tapes"
only found after his death, Stepping Razor
takes us to the life, works, motivation and
meditation of Peter Tosh.
Get ready
for one of the better documentaries made on
Reggae and Rastafari!
During his
life, nobody seemed to know about his secret
tapes. He marked them "Red X",
because, as he explains, he always saw his
name on official documents marked with a red
X. He knew he was going to die one time for
the things that he said...

I JAH MAN
LEVI - I WANT TO BE FREE (LIVE)
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| WWW,
December 2007 - I Jah Man Levi is best
known for his classic "Jah Heavy
Load", and his own special place within
spiritual Reggae Music.
I Jah Man
is known to prefer a quiet life, far away
from the rat race called the Music Industry.
As a conscious Rastaman, he doesn't care too
much about the things Babylon System has to
offer him.

DOCUMENTARY:
SUMMER SOUND IN CANADA
DUBROOM
VIDEO REVIEW |
| WWW,
December 2007 - Summer Sound In Canada
tells us all about the history of Reggae in
Canada. The mere fact that the documentary
was shot in it's entirety during the 1970's
and features several well-known Jamaican
artists should say a thing or two...
The
documentary, which is part of a CD series
called "From Jamaica to Toronto",
has been graciously donated to the online
(DUB) Reggae community by the publishers. It
tells the story of the birth and early
development of Jamaican Reggae in Canada.
