| Podcasts
are a great way to get yourself familiar
with all kinds of artists and styles you
might like to consider for your next
purchase. It is also a very good way of
experiencing Reggae in an alternative way as
many podcasts are de facto non-stop mixes,
often put together by skillful DJ's and
other Sound System personnel. The Dubroom
has reviewed many of the best podcast(ers)
throughout the years, all of which you can
discover in our reviewed podcast pages. Be
sure to also check out the Dubroom's own
podcast. A link to the latest chapter can be
found on the left side of this page.

BLACK
UHURU LIVE IN JAMAICA 1982
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
| WWW,
December 2008 - They're announced as
the best vocal group of the year, and
subsequently Mikal Rose, Puma Jones and
Duckie Simpson enter stage with Sly and
Robbie to proof the statement fact.
Black
Uhuru, especially back in those days, was
just as much Sly and Robbie as the singers
who formed the actual group. They
experimented and experimented, resulting in
a sound that was way ahead of it's days and
even years.

TWINKLE
BROTHERS LIVE IN PORTLAND 1981
DUBROOM PODCAST REVIEW |
| WWW,
December 2008 - They are known for
their Conscious lyrics in which they don't
apologize for the truth that they sing over
some crucial drum and bass lines. The
Twinkle Brothers, live in Portland.
The sound
quality is definitely not the best, but the
contents of the recording is more than just
historical. The music is fat, enthusiastic,
spiritual and strong in the same time.
