Not only
do I create and perform musical works with all my
heart and soul, I'm at least as passionate about
writing down my thoughts and feelings. Reasoning,
meditating and analysing is all part of this and
by putting it down in words Jah has enabled me to
share it with others. |

Celebrating "Christ Mass"
A NESSIAN DREAD ARTICLE |
It's
around that time of the year in which people
in Babylon in one way or another are
affected by what is called "holliday
season". Especially, these days, they
wish each other some thing called
"merry christmas".

BE YOURSELF
A NESSIAN DREAD COLUMN |
Reggae
Music in 2006 is part of a world-wide
culture, which started on Jamaica. It is
obvious, that Jamaican Culture stands at the
root of Reggae Culture. And it is obvious,
how the Movement of Rastafari continues to
play a central role within Reggae Music
until this very day.
Just like music in itself cannot really be
"religious", it is absurd to state
that Reggae Music in itself is to be a Music
for religious purposes. Personally, however,
for me, it is. Reggae for me is a way to
praise JAH.
And I am not the only one!

THE DUBROOM,GOSPEL AND REGGAE
A NESSIAN DREAD ARTICLE |
FEBRUARY
16 - Just recently there have been
reasonings on the Dubroom Message boards,
feedback by e-mail and a number of articles
all centering around the theme of Reggae
Music as it relates to the Gospel of Yesus
Kristos. Specifically on this website.
Where the Dubroom promotes (DUB) Reggae
and Consciousness, the site's webmaster is a
born again Christian. How do these things
relate to each other? An in-depth
article about the philosophy behind the
Dubroom, the Gospel, and the promotion of
Reggae Music.

THE DANGER OF THE WEB: ARE YOU A FLY?
A NESSIAN DREAD COLUMN |
Lately,
on several truly seperate occasions whereby
there was something going on, it appeared
that there is some new trend by which people
will talk about the Internet as if it is
some kind of trap to fall into. And while it
is true, that Cyberspace is full of Webs,
Spiders and Flies, it is equally true that
the people who fear the Internet the most
are those people who have something to hide.
You can see this in the fact that those
within the establishment, within the system,
are doing the best they can to discredit the
Internet and make people go offline (again)
in order to be fed the same old propaganda
they have been eating before they went
online.

MESSIAN DREAD AT GREENBELT, UK
A NESSIAN DREAD REPORT |
In
the heart of the United Kingdom, close to
Oxford and Birmingham, lies the town of
Cheltenham. There’s a big racecourse in
this place, which was the location for a
festival called Greenbelt. A place to listen
to good music, hang out, and be edified by a
multitude of speakers and seminars around a
number of deep subjects. Greenbelt had its
30th anniversary this year (2003). DUBROOM
artist and webmaster Messian Dread was
invited too, for two seminars and a small
performance. Read his report.
