| With
the rise of Lover's Rock in the UK during
the 1980's, he had a hit with a tune called
"Dim The Light". That was in 1983.
But we go further back in time, to meet up
with Winston Reedy as he performs live with
members of the well-known band the Cimarons
in the Hammersmith Palais, London.
Lover's Rock could best be described as a
lighter form of Roots Music, with lyrics
that usually deal with lovers affairs. And
that's why this combination of a Lover's
Rock singer with a Roots band runs very
smoothly, even though it's obviously a live
performance and not a digital studio
recording, seen?
Yes I, pure niceness, this Lover's tune.
The band plays nice, Winston Reedy has nice
things to say to the sistren, and he does it
in a nice singing style.
