BARRINGTON LEVY - HERE I COME

Levy can be called on of the ikons of Rub a
Dub: the predominant style of Reggae between
the late 1970's and the mid 1980's, when Rub
a Dub became Ragga, became Dancehall, became
what it is now.
In the time this live performance was
recorded, Rub a Dub was transformed into
Ragga. That's why you get both styles in the
same tune: the rough rhythm of Ragga
combined with the easy skank of the Rub a
Dub rhythm.
