| In
this four-part documentary, we are taken to
the land that has more to do with the
movement of Rastafari than any other country
on the face of the planet: Ethiopia! Not
only is it the oldest Christian Nation on
the earth, as the Bible documents in the
book of Acts, there are also many claims
that the Ark of the Covenant is actually
present in Ethiopia, too.
What about these claims? Can something
more be said than just the fact that the
claim is there? This documentary -originally
aired on the History Channel- tries to shed
some light on what is at least a very
interesting issue.
In fact, the video is not just
informative for people who are interested in
the Ark theories. We are being introduced to
many aspects of the Ethiopian Culture that
indicate some strong connections with
ancient Israel as well. We visit some places
that may very well have some ancient artifacts
from the actual Solomonic temple from
Jerusalem, for example.
Before the video ends, at the Ethiopian
place of Axum where the Ark is said to be
located currently, we have been introduced
to the fact that Ethiopia in fact has some
very strong ties with the things described
in the Bible and even though this video is
obviously not made by people who have read
"too much" in their Bibles, the
result is a documentary that should at least
be seen by everyone even remotely interested
in Rastafari, Ethiopia and (it's)
Christianity.
