| AISHA AND ROBOTIKS AND MAD
PROFESSOR - GUIDE AND PROTECT (LIVE) (1990) |
| Say
"Roots Daughter", say
"Ariwa". Mad Professor's studio
has always been the home for a whole group
of female singers who deal with strictly
consciousness.
Aisha is one of these Roots Daughters.
Heartical lyrics, conscious and with
dignity, like this 1990 live recording where
she performs with Ariwa's studio and live
band the Robotiks.

| JACOB
MILLER/INNER CIRCLE - WE A ROCKERS (1978) |
| The
title track for what many would call the
best Reggae movie ever was performed by none
other than Jacob "Killer" Miller,
the vocalist of the group Inner
Circle.
Here is a rare clip from 1978, when
Rockers was released. It doesn't contain
footage from the movie, but the music, man,
you can't refuse!

| BURNING
SPEAR ON HIGHEST REGION TV, 2006 |
| In
this video taken from the "Highest
Region" TV Show, Burning Spear is
interviewed about his latest video
"Walk". A video, by the way, that
we can see too. But he also speaks about
performing in Africa. and for Burning Spear,
that was a truly impressive experience as we
can see.

| Mikey Dread and UB40 - Roots and Culture (1983) |
| This
is an unexpected combination, that will
surely drive the attention of everyone who
knows either Mikey Dread or UB40. The year
is 1983, and the British band UB40 (who
named themselves after an unemployment card)
was coming up strong with their special kind
of Reggae. Mikey Dread was already an
established name in Reggae, as he ruled the
Jamaican airwaves with his Radio show
"Dread at the Controls".
