a doubt, Yabby You is one of the originators
of Reggae music. The many re-releases by
well known Reggae label "Blood and
Fire" are only a small part of the
works he released until this day.
He has been a part of "The
Prophets", and released a lot of
material wherein he voiced on top of crucial
Roots Rockers Reggae. Yabby You also
producedMichael Rose and Michael Prophet,
two name but two of his
"discoveries".
The Reggae Community worldwide owes a lot
of respect and gratitude towards Yabby You,
that is obvious. But in spite of all these
things, it's still not so easy to find Yabby
You on video, or to go to a Yabby You
concert.
This has now changed.
In 2005, Yabby You performed on a French
Reggae festival along with Black Uhuru and
Trinity. The concert is videotaped and put
online, so that finally people can see Yabby
You live in concert.
