With
their release "Heart of the
Congo's", the vocal trio delivered a
classic Reggae album. A few years ago, the
album was re-released by Blood and Fire. And
even though the Congo's released more
material, "Heart" is still
considered to be their best.
Congo Ashanti Roy, former member of the
Congo's, has also released music as a solo
artist. And he performs as well. In this
2003 Punk Cast video, he is backed by the
"Jammyland All Stars".
Unfortunately, they're not at their best,
which makes this video a must-have for
collectors of interesting material but not
representative for the overall quality of
the American-based backing band.
