I was openly wondering as to whether I was
doing a Hot Stepper or a Cool Running. Of
course, asking the question is answering it
and so I took a break.

WWW, July/August 2008 - Nobody has more than
24 hours in a day and seven days in a week.
And so, your's truly has to realize this too
after a failed attempt to simply ignore this
basic fact of life. The result is, that I
have to stop updating the website for a
while to come.

YEAR OF THE MYSTERY

WWW, June 2008 - Last Janurary, I started
using my column on the Dubroom Frontpage to
write a series on Mystery Babylon. In June,
I come to realize that this is my
"project of the year" and write an
update.

MESSIAN DREAD - STEPPIN' DUBS |
|
In the "Sugar and Spice"
tradition, this release contains two
steppers tunes, each one with their own
specific vibe. From an upfull Dub of
Ireness, we go over to a much more militant
and solid tune in almost eight minutes of
Dub Niceness.

MESSIAN DREAD - DUB IN 4D |
|
This hard steppers track breaks through the
4th dimension with excessive use of the echo
device. As the drum and bass play a
more-than-solid line, the tempo of the delay
keeps changing.
DUB In 4D plays as much with time (the
fourth dimension) as it plays with the
music. It's best enjoyed when played at
maximum volume!
