It took a long time and a
lot of energy as well as things which
shouldn't be mentioned online, but the
Dubroom survived this enormous crisis.
The worst was however not
over.
2004 marked another crisis.
The Dubroom was almost going off-line a few
times!
Furtunately, the site also
survived.
Then, in October 2004 the
site was completely renovated. Behind the
scenes Messian Dread had designed a new lay
out for the site and added several new
sections to it.

2005, TIME TO BECOME ALIVE!
|
|
The MP3.com disaster truly left the Dubroom
in the neccesity to change certain aspects
of the website itself. Changing the lay out
of the site wasn't enough.
On the Dubroom Frontpage, a website
description was placed. It reads: "The
Dubroom is a visitor sponsored independant
website promoting (DUB) Reggae and
Consciousnes".
Consciousness is a buzzword, but it
simply means being awake. Being awake as in:
knowing Reality, know what's going on. A
Truthseeker's state of mind, if you will.
The relevance of the Dubroom's
independant status became appearant when the
Dubroom grew and grew into an informational
point for many Truth Seekers and Reggae
Lovers alike.

|
At the start of 2006, the Dubroom went
through another phase. The website's focus on Consciousness as
well as Reggae Music had to be integrated in
the navigation and other technical aspects
of the site.
Catering to well over 1500 visitors a day
obviously includes the presentation of a
format, and so the Dubroom was divided into
four main sections, all starting with the
letter "R":
- Reviews
- Releases
- Research
- (the) Rest
Also, a new section with video reviews
was added, together with a brand new Net
Label and Webstore. Messian Dread involved
himself in a mega project: producing almost
50 different riddims. In the month of
december in 2006, every day a new track was
presented to the online community.
