Thank you for your interest in our investigation into "CHRISTAFARI™".
In this introduction, we would like to share our initial
reason and purpose of this research project. A
project which has been concluded with the release of a
200+ page free e-book called "The Mystery Of
Christafarianism" in july 2005.

Most people know Christafari as a so-called
"Gospel Reggae Band". But Christafari is much
more then just a group
of Christians playing Reggae Music. There is a whole
organization around the band, and especially it's
founder: "Pastor Mark" Mohr. There is also a whole philosophy that comes with Christafari:
Christafarianism.
And, as if that was not enough allready, there is now
even a Cult of Christafarians.

TO WHOM THIS CONCERNS
|
|
|
Everybody who loves the Truth and who loves Reggae Music
too, will find some very relevant information
in this "CRC Check". Especially those who know
themselves part of (or connected to) Christianity
and/or the movement of Rastafari, will sooner or
later be
confronted with Christafarianism.

BASIC CRITIQUE

CHRISTAFARI™ uses the Name of the Creator in
vain in order to generate economic activety
in an industry blasphemically called "The
Christian Industry".

CHRISTAFARI™ preaches a different Gospel
and a different Christ in order to generate
economic activety in an industry blasphemically
called "The Christian Industry".

CHRISTAFARI™ practices a number of other abominable
activities in order to generate economic activety
in an industry blasphemically called "The
Christian Industry".

CHRISTAFARI™ tries to create a global following or
fan-base (cult) in order to generate economic
activety in an industry blasphemically called
"The Christian Industry".

CHRISTAFARIANISM
|
|
|
Christafarianism is the name that Christafari gave to
"The Culture We Created With Our Fan Base".
It is a charicature of some
outward aspects of Rastafari Culture. These aspects are stripped from their original spiritual meaning, and
subsequently "transformed" to fit in
"The Christian Industry".

Christafarianism is defended by Christafari with a
variety of "bible teachings" and
neo-evangelical traditions as ultimate justification.
This argumentation is the philosophical foundation for
Christafarianism and therefore an integral aspect of
it.

CHRISTAFARIANS
|
|
|
Christafari has used the name "Christafarians"
to adress and describe several groups of people, who do
not neccesarily have to have much in common other then
an adherance to Christafarianism or worship of
Christafari.

|

Dread/CRC) has grossly misunderstood our use of the word
"Christafarian". It is not a belief system or
sect of faith. The word has only personally been used
a few times to my knowledge. First, it was the
original name of my band Christafari. Second, it has
been used in past Lion of Zion updates in reference to
our listeners. It was never used to describe a
certain belief system. When I think of the term
"Christafarian," I think about a supporter or
admirer of our music. Not a convert that has been
conformed to my ways.

THE WARNING

The CRC sounds a warning to the body of Kristos.
Christafari, Christafarianism, and the Christafarians
are an abomination to the Truth of Yesus Kristos. They
have as much to do with true Christianity as they have
something to do with true Rastafari.

"ALL THINGS TO
ALL MEN"
|
|
|
Our investigation into Christafarianism has led us to
establish that the chief motto and justification is a
perversion of a Bible verse, summarized by Christafari
as "All Things To All Men". Presented as a
description of their (quote) "Mission
Approach" in order to "convert" people to
Christafarianism, this methodology can better be
described as "Wolves In Sheep's Clothing".

Christafari admits and boasts how they are imitating
what they perceive as Rastafari Culture in order to
"win the Rastas". This is a methodology taught
at BIOLA UNIVERSITY, where Christafari Mark Mohr claims
to have learned this. BIOLA calls it the "IMITATOR
METHOD".

|
Our research has led us to establish how Christafari
is equally imitating what they perceive as Christianity
in order to (quote) "plug the gap in the Christian
Industry". They do so by presenting themselves as
some kind of "missionairies" who "preach
the gospel to the lost" where in reality they are
only (quote) "creating our own culture with our fan
base" in this very same (quote) "Christian
Industry".

One of the sources for the
piece that contained almost nothing but factual
inconsistencies was listed as Mark Mohr.
Although he stated clearly
(in a private email) to the writer of this essay
back in 1997 that he had not been the source for
this outright deceptive lie about Rastafarians, it
remains unclear whether the abominable accusation
against Rastafari has ever been rectified after it
was spread globally in a magazine considered to be
an authority in the CCMIC. |
