"This is Mark Mohr From Christafari. Buju never
grabbed a book from me or from any other member of
Christafari.
We were on the Sunsplash tour, and I had with me in
our personal luggage a short booklet that I had written
comparing Haile Selassie's life with the life of Jesus
Christ.
In the writing I set out to show that Haile Selassie
was a very godly man, but was not God.
This booklet was taken from our luggage without
permission by one of the stage hands and then given to
an artist. This artist had so many questions as to how
to answer the scriptures that I had used that he went to
another artist (Sister Carol).
Within 3 days everyone on the tour had read my
writing. As to Fiturauri's accusations, I nor any one
else in Christafari ever handed out anti H.I.M. material
on this tour.
Although one of my writings was stolen from me, I by
no means consider it anti Selassie, for I use his own
words, and life to prove my point. To truly follow
Selassie is to follow who he followed, and pray to whom
he prayed to.
We were never kicked off of the tour, although buju
tried to stabb me with his knife over my stance on
Christ, I chose not to press charges.
I reasoned with all on the tour and at the end we all
left in peace with a greater understanding. If there is
any doubt as to the truth to this statement call and ask
Sister Carol, Freddie McGregor, or even Buju.
We by no means are trying to seperate ourselves from
all rastas saying that we are right and they are wrong.
We are not here to create an us and them issue. If we
dissagree, so be it. Inity over all else.
Although we may dissagre, we respect you in the
greatest possible way. One love. I appreciate your
question, and am glad to clear this up for you.
I would have stated this earlier, however all of the
questions have come from Fituruari, and I have chosen
not to respond to him. In the future, if you ever
believe that he is asking a legitimate question and
desire to know the answer, please re-ask me personally,
and I would be glad to answer.
Peace
Mark "Tansoback" Mohr
